After a rather tough play, SITIO CITY's Rúben Neiva got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Fauna Utd were awarded a corner. Henri-Xavier Justus went to the cornerflag to take it. João Vilarinho tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Manuel Liberato. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 8th minute. Rúben Neiva scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan De Geyter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Póvoas came free, but Jan De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Massenhove charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lenny Massenhove the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Massenhove to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Helssen's late challenge caught a SITIO CITY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerard Helssen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Gerard Helssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by William Geldhof. SITIO CITY's Basílio Prates couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fauna Utd. In the 27th minute, Miguel Gusmão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Américo Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fauna Utd's Jan De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Quinaz in the 32nd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Rúben Neiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SITIO CITY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Jan De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Quinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octave Hacke fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fauna Utd's protests and gave Octave Hacke a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SITIO CITY booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octave Hacke didn't get a good kick on the ball. SITIO CITY's Igor Quinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerard Helssen made a kick off. Rúben Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jan De Geyter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Quinaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Maurício Brandão could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Jan De Geyter however easily saved by the left post. Rúben Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jan De Geyter made a huge save. Fauna Utd's Jan De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Quinaz in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Igor Quinaz notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Fauna Utd's Jan De Geyter. Jan De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 1-8 became the score in the 76th minute when Igor Quinaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Quinaz in the 79th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Jan De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Jan De Geyter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurício Brandão. After 85 minutes of play, SITIO CITY's Igor Quinaz made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Américo Palma succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-10 in the 88th playminute. In the 94th minute, Maurício Brandão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Quinaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. SITIO CITY played a much better game than Fauna Utd and deserved their victory. The Fauna Utd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
