In the 19thth minute of the game Alfredão Mesquita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Chuan came free, but Rony Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sport Club Mavericks booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Igor Havier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikingos FC and the Sport Club Mavericks players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredão Mesquita was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Marciano Isaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Pedro Augusto Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Augusto Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them.
