The Soroca F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Guga de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustacio Socorro came out of the goal and Guga de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Samuel Adams got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Cactos booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Reno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Cactos got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Negri. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lenílson Rodrigues to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Adams kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Germano Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Precioso in the 58th minute of play. Germano Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Precioso in the 72nd minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Germano Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Soroca F.C.'s Arthur Theakston made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Bezerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Soroca F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
