After taking down the ball on 61 PIMMS FC's corner Aytuğ Eskioğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emílio Camarinha quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Set Fire getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Neide De Matos hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, 61 PIMMS FC's Ekber Saltuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emílio Camarinha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 47th match minute, 61 PIMMS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Şefik Özsu to maneuver through the defense. Ali Kağan Başayoğlu came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Set Fire's Simão Valies. But to his dismay, Simão Valies quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
