Emílio Camarinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 麦志青, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 21 minutes into the game, 麦志青 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cláudio Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 秦永雄 having to interfere. Set Fire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 麦志青 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1.
