Sporting Savaria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orlando Cordoba ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Alfréd Horváth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Lozano came free, but Ede Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrián Mesterházy charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrián Mesterházy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Thome in the 44th minute of play. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Villegas made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lozano in the 56th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfréd Horváth kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jason Thome's late challenge caught a Sporting Savaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jason Thome helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SAPRIMECKBEL's Jason Thome got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Fabio Lozano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAPRIMECKBEL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Lozano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Savaria's Ede Horváth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Savaria from getting a goal against them. Ede Horváth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Villegas in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfréd Horváth in the 75th minute of play forced SAPRIMECKBEL's goalkeeper Reynaldo Huetar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ede Horváth managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when SAPRIMECKBEL's Saul Villegas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ede Horváth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Lozano, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Macho Bonilla kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Lozano in the 90th minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Ede Horváth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Saul Villegas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ede Horváth. The goal made the score 0-2. SAPRIMECKBEL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
