In the 17th minute Federico Omero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Gurbista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Klimowicz Orol's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klimowicz Orol helped the player get up and apologised. Jairo Villavedon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Martin Lauaxeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Villavedon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Lauaxeta having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Villavedon was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Errecaborda AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anibal Pes hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Martin Lauaxeta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Jaime Roig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Vellito hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Chuse to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes NAGANO F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Roig. Inocencio Gurbista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Omero in the 95th minute of play. The NAGANO F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NAGANO F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
