The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Underdogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The Underdogs:s Dirk-Jan Akkerman showed great skill when he stopped Evaristo Guimarães:s penalty. In the 29th minute, Cássio Britto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Loser FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, The Underdogs's Carsten van Wonderen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Carsten van Wonderen took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseu Negri. Eliseu Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chuck Wood didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Evaristo Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dirk-Jan Akkerman skillfully saved the ball. Chuck Wood succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 44th playminute.

Eliseu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Britto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chuck Wood to maneuver through the defense. Dirk-Jan Akkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Britto in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Britto in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk-Jan Akkerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58thth minute of the game Cássio Britto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Underdogs's Dirk-Jan Akkerman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Veltman came free, but Eliseu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olívio Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Deivid Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. New Loser FC's Eliseu Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten van Wonderen in the 69th minute of play. Dirk-Jan Akkerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Guimarães in the 72nd minute of the match. Andrea Shevchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dirk-Jan Akkerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bjorn Veltman kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of New Loser FC booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjorn Veltman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk-Jan Akkerman made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Evaristo Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Bjorn Veltman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseu Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After 90 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Corné Knopper. Dirk-Jan Akkerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Pedro Goiano in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Underdogs had won after a very even match.
