Recep Talha Uçhan made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Bow Ling sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, The Underdogs's Matthijs De Ligt got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Nurettin Çağakan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dirk-Jan Akkerman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Göktürk in the 10th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Akkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dirk-Jan Akkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mahir Buyrukalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Huib van Zanten's late challenge caught a ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huib van Zanten helped the player get up and apologised. Recep Talha Uçhan came out of the goal and Sjors Kolkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Recep Talha Uçhan got control of the ball when Sjors Kolkman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carsten van Wonderen in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Recep Talha Uçhan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Semi Buyrukalp got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sjors Kolkman got free with Recep Talha Uçhan in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sjors Kolkmans short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Recep Talha Uçhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Chuck Wood went to the cornerflag to take it. 37 minutes into the match, Bow Ling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Recep Talha Uçhan. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bow Ling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özgür Göktürk in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dirk-Jan Akkerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dirk-Jan Akkerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfikar Özkurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Recep Talha Uçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsten van Wonderen in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özgür Göktürk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Özgür Göktürk during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Özgür Göktürk hit a great ball. Mahir Buyrukalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dirk-Jan Akkerman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahir Buyrukalp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Özgür Göktürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Jan Akkerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, The Underdogs's Sjors Kolkman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Recep Talha Uçhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the game, The Underdogs's Sjors Kolkman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Recep Talha Uçhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Zülfikar Özkurt's late challenge caught a The Underdogs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korkut Sekib to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 86 minutes, Chuck Wood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chuck Wood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes, Mahir Buyrukalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ and the The Underdogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mahir Buyrukalp hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the game, Özgür Göktürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Dirk-Jan Akkerman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Başar Onguner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
