After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, Aurelian Otopeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Van Beylen came out of the goal and Aurelian Otopeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Armada reached it. Robbie Van Beylen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Mereuță in the 22nd minute of the match. Alexandru Pintilie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbie Van Beylen having to interfere. Lorenz Van Eede's late challenge caught a Armada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenz Van Eede helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alexandru Pintilie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armada's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandru Pintilie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robbie Van Beylen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Dorin Mereuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Van Beylen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Dorin Mereuță came free, but Robbie Van Beylen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Limburg United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Armada were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilliam Roelandts was the one to do the kick off. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
