Pavel Spãtaru started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Comunardo Zollino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Grimalschi. Comunardo Zollino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Zollino came free, but Anton Grimalschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Anton Grimalschi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Comunardo Zollino. Dario Del Monaco kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Comunardo Zollino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Grimalschi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Spãtaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferruccio Carafa having to make a save. When Ruslan Pânzaru came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the UFC Puturoasa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruslan Pânzaru couldn't finish the play. Anton Grimalschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Marzoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's Eraldo Monaco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Grimalschi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Spãtaru came free, but Ferruccio Carafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihai Briceag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ferruccio Carafa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to UFC Puturoasa getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mihai Briceag hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Glasgow Rangers FC's Fabiano Passerini was substituted for Concetto Corvasce. Glasgow Rangers FC's Alexander Paoletti was substituted for Aldo Marzoli. UFC Puturoasa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruslan Blanari in the 56th minute. Ruslan Blanari made a great header on UFC Puturoasa's corner, it was just that Glasgow Rangers FC's Ferruccio Carafa managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Briceag in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferruccio Carafa saved Glasgow Rangers FC from getting behind. After 62 minutes, Eraldo Monaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasgow Rangers FC and the UFC Puturoasa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of UFC Puturoasa booed when Glasgow Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eraldo Monaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornel Vornic charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Vornic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Pavel Spãtaru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ferruccio Carafa. The goal made the score 1-2. UFC Puturoasa made a substitution. Vlad Juravschi replaced Simion Jereghi. Ferruccio Carafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Briceag in the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Pavel Spãtaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Puturoasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Spãtaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferruccio Carafa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Grimalschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Monaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UFC Puturoasa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
