Twan Lute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamal Habib having to interfere. Riswan Batubara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fokke Veenhuis having to make a save. Vincent Wielens charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Wielens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute, Vincent Wielens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wilfried Oude Kamphuis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Pitt Bier's protests and gave Wilfried Oude Kamphuis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Pitt Bier's Wilfried Oude Kamphuis got a free kick in the 14th minute. Fokke Veenhuis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Riswan Batubara in the 15th minute. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondang Gultom in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Lucky Star got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Haeruddin. If Riswan Batubara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riswan Batubara to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Lucky Star booed when AC Pitt Bier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douwe Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douwe Marin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lucky Star getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bagong Tomagola hit a great ball. Johan Segundo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamal Habib. Kamal Habib dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sondang Gultom in the 35th minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Fokke Veenhuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Riswan Batubara got free with Fokke Veenhuis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Lucky Star's Pance Tarmadi got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Kamal Habib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Lute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Riswan Batubara made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Giring Suprianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Veenhuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Johan Segundo made a precise shot to the right of Kamal Habib. Lucky Star's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sondang Gultom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Twan Lute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kamal Habib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Twan Lute managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Pitt Bier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Twan Lute was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sondang Gultom got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fokke Veenhuis handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Sondang Gultom made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giring Suprianto in the 78th minute of play forced AC Pitt Bier's goalkeeper Fokke Veenhuis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fokke Veenhuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sondang Gultom, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Johan Segundo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kamal Habib. Kamal Habib dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 92nd match minute, Lucky Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sondang Gultom to maneuver through the defense. When Vincent Wielens was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played.
