When Christian de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Christian de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AC Pitt Bier booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaas Rijkaard kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Geovânio Viana charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Viana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovânio Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Klaas Rijkaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Segundo came free, but Silvinho Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis got control of the ball when Memphis Xande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fokke Veenhuis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Gol in the 19th minute of play. When Twan Lute fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Pitt Bier's protests and gave Twan Lute a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes AC Pitt Bier got a freekick which was hit by Twan Lute. In the 21st minute of the match Geovânio Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fokke Veenhuis skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the AC Pitt Bier defense, Haroldo Tepedino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fokke Veenhuis. The AC Pitt Bier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fokke Veenhuis should have stopped the shot. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Xandinho Yamal hit a great ball. Klaas Rijkaard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvinho Gaúcho. New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Haroldo Tepedino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fokke Veenhuis firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Geovânio Viana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. In the 45th minute, Xandinho Yamal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Klaas Rijkaard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Gaúcho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvinho Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Segundo in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xande Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Xandinho Yamal kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klaas Rijkaard got free with Silvinho Gaúcho in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meindert Oss kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. AC Pitt Bier's Fokke Veenhuis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Travassos in the 67th minute of play. Róbson Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Travassos. Luiz Fábio Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Veenhuis having to interfere. Silvinho Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascall de Vries's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Luiz Fábio Baiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fábio Baiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fokke Veenhuis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fokke Veenhuis having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Pitt Bier fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for New Joinville - FSCMZ. Xande Gol stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fokke Veenhuis. 2-0. In the 93rd minute, one of New Joinville - FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New Joinville - FSCMZ. The referee gave AC Pitt Bier a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Johan Segundo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of New Joinville - FSCMZ's Silvinho Gaúcho. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Joinville - FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
