It was Guillelmus Tendiero who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Leones FC's Guillelmus Tendiero to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Magalhães in the 8th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Hector Uranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicollao Ovies in the 22nd minute of play. Edgard Catarinense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Hector Uranga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 27th play minutes Humberto Magalhães shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hector Uranga and just under the crossbar into goal. Rodolfo Tande's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Guillelmus Tendiero charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
