With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shane Steadman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Garlic Eaters defense, Rich Clough kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shane Steadman. The Garlic Eaters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shane Steadman should have stopped the shot. Shane Steadman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rich Clough in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Staffordshire Terrier FC booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rachid Baba Ali í Lon Jacobsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rich Clough was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Liam Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Clough came free, but Shane Steadman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Graham Long recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
