When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Cordairo Torrente sped through FCPorto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filipe Padilha. 33 minutes into the match, FCPorto's goal looked a bit too open when Cordairo Torrente came free, but Filipe Padilha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FCPorto getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tiago Coelho hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Dan Hedkvist in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Filipe Padilha's left hand side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cordairo Torrente made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pontus Ekgren in the 61st minute of play forced FCPorto's goalkeeper Filipe Padilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jonathan Dalkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honung's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Dalkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Padilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cordairo Torrente took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Padilha. Filipe Padilha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jens-Erik Biörk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filipe Padilha having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Cordairo Torrente took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Filipe Padilha to make any attempt to save it. Filipe Padilha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Erik Biörk in the 93rd minute.
