Ermo Laaser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Valdemar Granberg made a huge save. After 20 minutes, Vaino Karja mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuntsidega Vägimehed and the Honung players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valdemar Granberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermo Laaser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermo Laaser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Granberg having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Honung's goalkeeper Valdemar Granberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eikki Einasto. 41 minutes into the game, Ermo Laaser recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdemar Granberg. Ermo Laaser showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 44 minutes into the game, Vaino Karja cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Valdemar Granberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermo Laaser stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaino Karja in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Granberg saved Honung from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Ermo Laaser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Charlie Petersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
