The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Florentino Esiquio scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Drâmba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isac Drâmba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Esiquio in the 9th minute of the match. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Iustinian Petre hit a great ball. Jeremias Cucao made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Denis Negruț sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes, Dan Berca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the Marlin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Berca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Petrică Ţirpescu made a precise shot to the right of Jeremias Cucao. Marlin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With 38 minutes on the clock, Iacob Surdu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Isac Drâmba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Gonzales in the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Florentino Esiquio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Drâmba. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Esiquio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

In the 56th minute, Marlin FC's Anier Sazon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isac Drâmba. Isac Drâmba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Dorin Plăcintă fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Dorin Plăcintă a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 minutes of play, Marlin FC's Florentino Esiquio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Drâmba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dan Berca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Cosme Erramun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Unicorns ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Berca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Drâmba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florentino Esiquio in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute Anier Sazon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Drâmba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Florentino Esiquio made a precise shot to the right of Isac Drâmba. Unicorns ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. 85 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Anier Sazon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Drâmba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Isac Drâmba came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Anier Sazon. But to his dismay, Anier Sazon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Erramun in the 91st minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Isac Drâmba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marlin FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
