Breguete FC's Elder Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Venerando in the 2nd minute of play. In the 14th minute, Yuri Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Polo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Salles in the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Jarbas Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Monteiro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio de Amorim during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio de Amorim hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Ciriaco Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Salles to make the kick off. Ciriaco Peli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elder Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Venerando in the 56th minute of play forced Breguete FC's goalkeeper Elder Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Ulises Venerando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Monteiro having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Venerando came free, but Elder Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LACELESTEYBLANCA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
