Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ruud van Nistelrooij made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Just Bazoge to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Sarhan Al Besher. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kamel Beche hit a great ball. Edrees Al Najdi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyril Garino. Ground Control's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cyril Garino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalaf Kakoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Sylvain Chiffoleau fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Sylvain Chiffoleau a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Sylvain Chiffoleau hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bashar Al Rifaee in the 14th minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Cyril Garino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ground Control's Théodore Coulange got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shehab Abol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyril Garino having to interfere. Ground Control's attentive Alphonse Mathevet managed to snatch the ball when Sarhan Al Besher made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. Sylvain Chiffoleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Just Bazoge fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ground Control's protests and gave Just Bazoge a yellow card for diving instead. Théodore Coulange made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Tigers's Sarhan Al Besher. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Ground Control booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarhan Al Besher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylvain Chiffoleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Alberto Chilavert having to interfere. Edrees Al Najdi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. José Alberto Chilavert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Lignon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Golden Tigers defense, Sylvain Chiffoleau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Alberto Chilavert. The Golden Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Alberto Chilavert should have stopped the shot. José Alberto Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Just Bazoge, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 68th match minute, Ground Control was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Youri Lignon to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Golden Tigers's Shehab Abol got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Sylvain Chiffoleau was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. In the 75th minute, Sylvain Chiffoleau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Shehab Abol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cyril Garino. Shehab Abol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Cyril Garino came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Tigers's Khalaf Kakoli. But to his dismay, Khalaf Kakoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 87th minute, Just Bazoge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyril Garino was a little too slow when Khalaf Kakoli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-3. The Ground Control fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Golden Tigers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
