With a left leg Michal Brysz saved Janusze Futbolu from getting behind. In the 4th match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Piechocki to maneuver through the defense. Michal Brysz was a little too slow when Kryspin Mitus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Lucjan Jekot fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Olimpia Warszawa's protests and gave Lucjan Jekot a yellow card for diving instead. Janusze Futbolu's Olgierd Mockiewicz was substituted for Piotr Grocholski. The supporters of Janusze Futbolu booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Jekot didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Piotr Zgonina with Teobald Piechocki as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Miromir Zukowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Barycz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Brysz was a little too slow when Kryspin Mitus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Kryspin Mitus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 31st minute of the game Piotr Zgonina made a throw-in which Karol Dabrowski played forward. 39 minutes into the game, Karol Dabrowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Miromir Zukowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in KS Olimpia Warszawa's zone, Karol Dabrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miromir Zukowski came out of the goal and Karol Dabrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbigniew Barycz to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Dabrowski came free, but Miromir Zukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miromir Zukowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Fafinski in the 53rd minute. Benedykt Lichucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brysz having to interfere. Michal Wierzchowski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The long shot by Karol Dabrowski in the 61st minute really tested Miromir Zukowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Miromir Zukowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Giec in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Zbigniew Barycz lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Miromir Zukowski. A collision led to KS Olimpia Warszawa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Benedykt Lichucki hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Janusze Futbolu got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Mockiewicz. Kryspin Mitus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Brysz having to interfere. KS Olimpia Warszawa were furious when Bernard Bentkowski was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in KS Olimpia Warszawa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Miromir Zukowski was out of position in the 98 minute of play, and Zbigniew Barycz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zbigniew Barycz really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. Janusze Futbolu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
