The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when Ground Control was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Donnat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eliodor Petran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josselin Portet was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Mihai Poalelungi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Youri Lignon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. David Chițes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josselin Portet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Poalelungi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Youri Lignon took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for David Chițes to make any attempt to save it. If Youri Lignon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Youri Lignon in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Chițes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Ground Control getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Just Bazoge hit a great ball. Sylvain Chiffoleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buffalo Timişoara's David Chițes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Just Bazoge in the 35th minute of play. Youri Lignon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but David Chițes made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Paraschivescu in the 41st minute of play forced Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youri Lignon in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Chițes saved Buffalo Timişoara from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliodor Petran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mihai Poalelungi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Mihai Poalelungi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Ground Control's Sylvain Chiffoleau got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihai Poalelungi got free with Josselin Portet in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylvain Chiffoleau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Chițes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Valeriu Paraschivescu kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Filip Graur kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Ground Control's goalkeeper Josselin Portet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Poalelungi. 80 minutes into the game, Just Bazoge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ground Control's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffalo Timişoara the free kick. After 80 played minutes Ground Control got a freekick which was hit by Just Bazoge. Josselin Portet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliodor Petran went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Josselin Portet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliodor Petran in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Just Bazoge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ground Control fans cheered their team off the field, for while Buffalo Timişoara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
