The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Pogoń Stawiszyn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TALLERES DE CBA:s goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerzy Zawaski made a kick off. TALLERES DE CBA's Romeo Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Sroka in the 58th minute of play. Emiliano Weather hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match.
