Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Célio Cardoso kicked off to start the match. If Tostão Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Vic Bayne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Agostinho Tasso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sipo EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gone With the Win the free kick. A collision led to Sipo EC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Agostinho Tasso hit a great ball. Wágner do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gone With the Win's Hugh Wilkinson got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Wágner do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ian Browne. Gone With the Win's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Foley in the 31st minute of play forced Sipo EC's goalkeeper Ernani Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sipo EC's Célio Cardoso in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 48th minute Wágner do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Browne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
After a defensive mix-up in Gone With the Win's zone, Célio Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian Browne came out of the goal and Célio Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 53rd match minute, Gone With the Win was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trevor Kempson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Cardoso got free with Ian Browne in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Didi da Mata in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Browne saved Gone With the Win from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Cardoso in the 64th minute of play forced Gone With the Win's goalkeeper Ian Browne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sipo EC's Oséas Pirani got a free kick in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Sipo EC got a freekick which was hit by Wágner do Valle. Ian Browne made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Célio Cardoso sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 75 in the game by Célio Cardoso from a close distance when the talented Ian Browne managed to make a qualified save. Gone With the Win's players were relieved.
