After 5 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gijsbert Luikens was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Max Håning put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Felix Baker got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Sylvester Stallone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gijsbert Luikens skillfully saved the ball. Gijsbert Luikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Håning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Rein Eggens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert Luikens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Arnold Schwarzenegger made a precise shot to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Carlo Planting hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Sylvester Stallone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Revenge's Gijsbert Luikens didn't even have to move. After 27 played minutes Revenge got a freekick which was hit by Rein Eggens. In the 28th minute of the match Sylvester Stallone sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gijsbert Luikens skillfully saved the ball. Revenge's Gijsbert Luikens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Rein Klap in the 33rd minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, MAFFIAN's Arnold Schwarzenegger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gijsbert Luikens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. MAFFIAN's Sylvester Stallone pulled a muscle in his back after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rein Eggens's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rein Eggens helped the player get up and apologised. MAFFIAN's Michael Klack was substituted for Sylvester Stallone. In the 46th minute, Rein Eggens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Revenge's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Claude Van Damme came free, but Gijsbert Luikens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Revenge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MAFFIAN were winning 1-4.

In the 52nd minute, Jean-Claude Van Damme made a precise shot to the right of Gijsbert Luikens. Revenge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Gijsbert Luikens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Klack in the 61st minute of the match. In the 68th minute Max Håning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gijsbert Luikens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, MAFFIAN's Arnold Schwarzenegger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gijsbert Luikens. Gijsbert Luikens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Kjell-Arne Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Baker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Hultman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Jim Nilsson replaced Peter Abelsson. The crowd rose to their feet as MAFFIAN's Jean-Claude Van Damme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gijsbert Luikens. That made the score 1-7 after 81 minutes of play. Gijsbert Luikens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Revenge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Max Håning scored to the left of an out of position Gijsbert Luikens, making the score, 1-9. MAFFIAN played a much better game than Revenge and deserved their victory. The Revenge players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
