Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eurico Mazza got the match started through his kick off. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Maverick Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. After 10 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Norberto de Carvalho. The corner led Maverick Futebol Clube's Percival Marinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Enrique Urtsin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Damaso Playo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Caio dos Santos made a huge save. Caio dos Santos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Florentino Gaspard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. When Pedro Vander fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maverick Futebol Clube's protests and gave Pedro Vander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vélez Juniors booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caio dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Damaso Playo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos got control of the ball when Damaso Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Damaso Playo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio dos Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eurico Mazza hit a great ball. A collision led to Vélez Juniors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ulises Cristofol hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rogelio Madeo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Ademar Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Florentino Gaspard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio dos Santos skillfully saved the ball. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Madeo in the 62nd minute of play. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Pietro in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Mazza in the 65th minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Enrique Urtsin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vélez Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Percival Marinho was slow to take the kick. During this time Maverick Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Anacleto Eztebe tried in the 67th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Enrique Urtsin a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Pietro in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Eurico Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Urtsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Damaso Playo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caio dos Santos. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Playo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vélez Juniors's Florentino Gaspard. But to his dismay, Florentino Gaspard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The supporters of Maverick Futebol Clube booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Florentino Gaspard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vélez Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Vélez Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
