Queluzito's Donato Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Queluzito from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Queluzito's goal looked a bit too open when Ramos Cuyar came free, but Donato Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Rojas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Donato Valle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramos Cuyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramos Cuyar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Donato Valle made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Niceto Ovalle got a free kick in the 19th minute. Eron Reguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Monteiro in the 23rd minute of play. Eron Reguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Monteiro in the 30th minute of the match. Elkin Calle kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Tomé Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Queluzito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Valle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jorge Rojas. Jorge Rojas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar got a free kick in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Perez during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Donato Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramos Cuyar's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Ramos Cuyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Gaston Mielgo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Raimundo Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Queluzito's Raimundo Monteiro got a free kick in the 90th minute. Penuel Football Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
