The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Esquadrão Lusitano getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sabino Carrasqueira hit a great ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Jan-Ivar Steiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ivar Steiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Jordet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ivan Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Isachsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertino Lobato in the 42nd minute of the match. Ivan Trindade yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The supporters of Daustad booed when Esquadrão Lusitano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Lobato didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Esquadrão Lusitano's Ivan Trindade got control of the ball when Christer Kaland tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Daustad eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
