This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Enrique Quer as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonas Veloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Quer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Vitor José took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klimovich Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, João Carlos Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Carlos Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz scored 3-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Quer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Ayatolá Inmortals's goalkeeper Enrique Quer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Sorin. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enrique Quer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enrique Quer was a little too slow when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Vitor José, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Ladislao Mazurkiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 35th minute, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Quer. Enrique Quer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Quer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Mazurkiewicz went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Ladislao Mazurkiewicz sped through Ayatolá Inmortals's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Enrique Quer. Ayatolá Inmortals's Checa Villarragut couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for S.E.R. Caxias do Sul. The supporters of S.E.R. Caxias do Sul booed when Ayatolá Inmortals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Checa Villarragut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Mazurkiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 77 played minutes Ayatolá Inmortals got a freekick which was hit by Xavon Gomara. Juan Sorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Caxias do Sul's Ladislao Mazurkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Quer narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
