Juan Sorin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Juan Sorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Gelmiro was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Juan Sorin made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Gelmiro. BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Baldomero Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sorin in the 26th minute of play. Angelino Boni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor José having to interfere. Vitor José made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Angelino Boni sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute Miguel Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor José saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Paranaense hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Boni was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Iuri Paranaense got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 60 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Boni came free, but Vitor José reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Damian Fanuco. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Boni in the 69th minute of the match. Vitor José took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Boni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitor José showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Boni, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iuri Paranaense during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iuri Paranaense hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Paolo Musko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92nd play minutes Juan Sorin shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Baldomero Gelmiro and just under the crossbar into goal.
