Stein Van Leemputte might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexsandro Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stein Van Leemputte ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Van de Putt to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Pena in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dyllan Decoster saved Twierdza Osowiec from getting behind. Rene Callewaert kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Twierdza Osowiec's Dyllan Decoster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Gaúcho in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Siebe Wuyts hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Fábio Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyllan Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Fábio Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dyllan Decoster was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Twierdza Osowiec's Dyllan Decoster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Gaúcho in the 25th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Sandrinho Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dyllan Decoster was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lou Winnepenninck was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Sandrinho Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyllan Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Lou Winnepenninck. After some careless play in the Twierdza Osowiec defense, Sandrinho Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dyllan Decoster. The Twierdza Osowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dyllan Decoster should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Callewaert to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Waldemar Maranhense in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Twierdza Osowiec's Kim De Poorter. In the 77th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Kim De Poorter shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexsandro Carioca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sandrinho Pena hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dyllan Decoster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Pena in the 83rd minute of play. Dyllan Decoster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Dias in the 85th minute of the match. Dyllan Decoster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Marcelinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dyllan Decoster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stein Van Leemputte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexsandro Carioca having to make a save. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
