The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Anton Țepeneag cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bertin Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertin Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Țepeneag in the 10th minute of the match. Iulian Ganea kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Niculae Andronescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Iratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Anton Țepeneag had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertin Yashin. Cougars FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Țepeneag was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Andrei Victor got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 45th match minute, Cougars FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cougars FC's zone, Andrei Victor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertin Yashin came out of the goal and Andrei Victor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Cougars FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Ruscova were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Victor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Andrei Victor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bertin Yashin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anton Țepeneag hit a great ball. With a little luck, Cougars FC's Bertin Yashin got control of the ball when Anton Țepeneag tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Cougars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Victor came free, but Bertin Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Țepeneag succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 72nd playminute. 75 minutes into the match, Andrei Victor notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cougars FC's Bertin Yashin. Bertin Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Lalla charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Lalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Lalla. Anton Țepeneag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cougars FC's Oscar Lalla got a free kick in the 85th minute. Bertin Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Țepeneag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertin Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Victor in the 87th minute of play. Anton Țepeneag recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Andronescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Cougars FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Luzaide. The Cougars FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Ruscova were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
