The crowd rose to their feet as Cougars FC's Pascual Luzaide slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Cordarius. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Tohias got free with Ariel Cordarius in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Cordarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Luzaide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Justo Tohias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Cordarius was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albano Eneko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
