Aureliano Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Larraguibel in the 13th minute of play. Roberto Larraguibel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when Dunamis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosme Mella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Quintyn having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Larraguibel was the one to do the kick off. Sandro Asenjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
