In the 4th match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzales Alfeiran to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Roman Elorri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenaido Urtiaran skillfully saved the ball. Abel Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzales Alfeiran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Angel Cadaval put in a rough tackle. Zenaido Urtiaran had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Gerardo Viviano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball When Scofield's Clodoveo Huly in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 21st match minute, Montevideo City Torque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montel Docio to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Almarza. In the 30th minute, Gonzales Alfeiran made a precise shot to the right of Abel Gilesindo. Scofield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Montel Docio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Gabriel Almarza kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jonas Gitanos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Zenaido Urtiaran to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Gerardo Viviano took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Zenaido Urtiaran to make any attempt to save it. Urbano Manny hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Huly had several of the Montevideo City Torque's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 46 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Zenaido Urtiaran as he didn't even see the shot coming. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Huly was the one to do the kick off. Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Manny, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Zenaido Urtiaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clodoveo Huly's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Aurelio Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Angel Erramu scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zenaido Urtiaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Blasi in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Huly in the 91st minute of play forced Montevideo City Torque's goalkeeper Zenaido Urtiaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Scofield fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montevideo City Torque had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
