Alton Tate charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alton Tate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Öjeby IF booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alton Tate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes of play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Earl Croteau made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Gerdberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Öjeby IF's Sven-Åke Matsson pulled a muscle in his leg after 7 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alton Tate got his second yellow card in the match during the 7th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Öjeby IF's Andreas Tolsson was substituted for Sven-Åke Matsson. In the 10th minute, Alton Tate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Raymundo Dooley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Christian Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arman Dahlqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Bussière hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Öjeby IF got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Alström. After 22 played minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymundo Dooley. 28 minutes into the game, Raymundo Dooley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Christian Gerdberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Earl Croteau notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Öjeby IF's Christian Gerdberg. Christian Gerdberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Öjeby IF getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Christian Blom hit a great ball. Philip Dahlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Antoine Maddox when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Antoine Maddox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Dahlqvist in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arman Dahlqvist made a kick off. Jordan Bussière fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Gerdberg having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Jordan Bussière hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Arman Dahlqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoine Maddox. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arman Dahlqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Öjeby IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Earl Croteau scored to the left of an out of position Christian Gerdberg, making the score, 1-6. Earl Croteau did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Christian Gerdberg 74 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Anthony Woodruff was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Öjeby IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Anthony Woodruff got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ingvar Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Maddox having to interfere. A collision led to Qikiqtarjuaq FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jordan Bussière hit a great ball. With a little luck, Öjeby IF's Christian Gerdberg got control of the ball when Raymundo Dooley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Earl Croteau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Gerdberg having to interfere. Öjeby IF's Christian Gerdberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Öjeby IF from getting a goal against them. Qikiqtarjuaq FC played a much better game than Öjeby IF and deserved their victory. The Öjeby IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
