The Zlatan BK fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Zlatan BK's Oliver Molander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Nordstedt in the 23rd minute of play forced Öjeby IF's goalkeeper Agne Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludvig Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agne Joensson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Öjeby IF's zone, Oliver Molander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agne Joensson came out of the goal and Oliver Molander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Öjeby IF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Charlie Lindgren hit a great ball. With 49 minutes on the clock, Tony Brun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Öjeby IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Agne Joensson had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ludvig Wik's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Öjeby IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zlatan BK were winning 0-6.

Agne Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Molander in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Oliver Molander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agne Joensson. The goal made the score 1-7.
