The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Venancio Pancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidice's Vitinho Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fellipe Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lidice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fellipe Goiano couldn't finish the play. In the 11thth minute of the game Venancio Pancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidice's Vitinho Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lidice's Vitinho Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Pancho in the 12th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Venancio Pancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lidice's Vitinho Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Venancio Pancho in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Venancio Pancho put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vitinho Trancoso. In the 31st minute, Anacleto Cibran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1989 Blxsk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper Santo Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wellington Moreira. Emanuel Markel hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Carlos Gerazan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vitinho Trancoso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Emanuel Markel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 1989 Blxsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidice the free kick. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Emanuel Markel got a free kick in the 45th minute. Lidice's Fellipe Goiano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 1989 Blxsk. After a rather tough play, 1989 Blxsk's Jeremias Padro got a free kick in the 49th minute. After the first half 1989 Blxsk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Pancho to make the kick off. Lidice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1989 Blxsk the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Lidice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Queirós to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Venancio Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitinho Trancoso was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Pancho in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Trancoso saved Lidice from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington Moreira during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Wellington Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes, Pedro Seršen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1989 Blxsk and the Lidice players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Seršen kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Venancio Pancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitinho Trancoso. The goal made the score 0-3. Vitinho Trancoso was a little too slow when Venancio Pancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Lidice's Jorginho da Cunha got a free kick in the 89th minute. Venancio Pancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1989 Blxsk's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
