Jonas de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonas de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Tancredo in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Desiderio Tancredo made a precise shot to the right of Jonas de Queirós. Flying Dutch's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

52 minutes into the game, Bruno Maraman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonas de Queirós. Bruno Maraman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Domingos Turi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Ben Hur's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Turi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flying Dutch's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruno Maraman 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Flying Dutch's zone, Apolo Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas de Queirós came out of the goal and Apolo Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Sportivo Ben Hur's Bruno Maraman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas de Queirós made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Evandro Souza's late challenge caught a Sportivo Ben Hur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evandro Souza helped the player get up and apologised. Evandro Souza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Apolo Ruy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas de Queirós saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Flying Dutch's Leandro Coutinho got a free kick in the 85th minute. Felippe Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
