Şentürk Cihanser was a little too slow when Elder Munhoz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Relyn Futebol Clube defense, Fikri Zorlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Vieira. The Relyn Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Vieira should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, XL-Azrail Team's Gencay Reşan got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fernando Almeida in the 25th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Şentürk Cihanser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Şentürk Cihanser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Almeida. If Luís Paulo de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Batıkan Tekcan during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Batıkan Tekcan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Laércio Vianna, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Şentürk Cihanser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Tróia in the 61st minute of play. Gencay Reşan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Vieira having to make a save. Juan Vieira made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gencay Reşan sent off a good shot on target. Şentürk Cihanser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the XL-Azrail Team defense, Elder Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şentürk Cihanser. The XL-Azrail Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şentürk Cihanser should have stopped the shot. Enginsu Necaettin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of XL-Azrail Team booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes XL-Azrail Team got a freekick which was hit by Enginsu Necaettin. Caetano Félix took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şentürk Cihanser. XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juan Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fikri Zorlu in the 97th minute of play.
