Pablo Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Ildefonso Estebano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devis Vásquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.M.P's Cornelio Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Corredor in the 28th minute of play. Pablo Meder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Devis Vásquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Garcia made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alvarez Corono sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Ildefonso Estebano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.M.P fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Leobardo Turienzo got a free kick in the 35th minute. MILLONARIOS FC's Devis Vásquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Estebano in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, C.A.M.P's Pablo Meder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Devis Vásquez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, C.A.M.P's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Corredor came free, but Cornelio Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Txindoki during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A.M.P getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Isidoro Txindoki hit a great ball. The MILLONARIOS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.M.P were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Juan Corredor made the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Estebano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Devis Vásquez made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Juan Corredor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Garcia. C.A.M.P's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Corredor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.M.P's Eloy Ireno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Devis Vásquez. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. Devis Vásquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Madaleno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Devis Vásquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Evangelista. Eloy Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Devis Vásquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Devis Vásquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Madaleno in the 92nd minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Erubiel Madaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.M.P and the MILLONARIOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
