After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Ovidio Liebana got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Albano Mercadillo. Şentürk Cihanser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvarez Corono in the 12th minute of the match. Devis Vásquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikri Zorlu in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Leobardo Turienzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şentürk Cihanser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Leobardo Turienzo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şentürk Cihanser was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Gencay Reşan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Devis Vásquez came out of the goal and Gencay Reşan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikri Zorlu made a kick off. XL-Azrail Team's Enginsu Necaettin got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, XL-Azrail Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Turan İçten to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when XL-Azrail Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Barış Doğanlar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidencio Cendegui might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şentürk Cihanser. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidencio Cendegui ran back to his position shaking his head. Şentürk Cihanser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvarez Corono in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çetin Pirane during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Çetin Pirane kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The long shot by Stanislao Brau in the 83rd minute really tested Şentürk Cihanser's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, XL-Azrail Team's Şentürk Cihanser got control of the ball when Alvarez Corono tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvarez Corono's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Şentürk Cihanser firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Mercadillo in the 88th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Şentürk Cihanser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 90 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Liebana. After 93 played minutes XL-Azrail Team got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Turan İçten. MILLONARIOS FC's Stanislao Brau shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Şentürk Cihanser but with some difficulty. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
