After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Caetano Félix got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Turienzo in the 7th minute of play forced Relyn Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Juan Vieira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Devis Vásquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loren Iriarte in the 20th minute of the match. Zoil Pardelas scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Relyn Futebol Clube's Elder Munhoz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Relyn Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Vianna. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Luís Fernando Almeida got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Zoil Pardelas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Vieira was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Loren Iriarte hit a great ball. After 44 minutes of play, MILLONARIOS FC's Loren Iriarte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Relyn Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fernando Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half MILLONARIOS FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Loren Iriarte made the kick off in the second half. Devis Vásquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elder Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute Luís Paulo de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Devis Vásquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Vieira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loren Iriarte in the 61st minute of the match. Stanislao Brau kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. MILLONARIOS FC's Devis Vásquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Vianna in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Relyn Futebol Clube's zone, Leobardo Turienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Vieira came out of the goal and Leobardo Turienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Relyn Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Loren Iriarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Juan Vieira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Relyn Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after MILLONARIOS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laércio Vianna took the corner. Relyn Futebol Clube's Laércio Vianna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Devis Vásquez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. MILLONARIOS FC played a much better game than Relyn Futebol Clube and deserved their victory. The Relyn Futebol Clube players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
