Moritz Weidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Manuel Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. German Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hansjörg Daniel in the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Mora came free, but Moritz Weidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Friedrich Hester who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GuateFortín's German Montoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 31 minutes GuateFortín's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Merten Belzner who took care of the corner kick. Klaus-Dieter Stötzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but German Montoya made a huge save. Elias Talia hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Give Peace a Chance's Merten Belzner tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Mora was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Give Peace a Chance got a freekick which was hit by Hansjörg Daniel. 56 minutes into the match, Merten Belzner notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GuateFortín's German Montoya. German Montoya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Manuel Martínez hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Félix Santana to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Félix Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moritz Weidt having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Hansjörg Daniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Give Peace a Chance's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hansjörg Daniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Valenzuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Moritz Weidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored GuateFortín's protests and gave Rolando Hidalgo a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Alvarez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Moritz Weidt. That made the score 3-3 in the 91 minute of play. Give Peace a Chance were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
