Vitório Britto came out of the goal and Baltazar Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner ended in Clóvis Marinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Quebra Ossos FC's Vitório Britto did a great save. In the 7th match minute, FALCÕES VERDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Júlio Fonseca took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório Britto. Vitório Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Júlio Fonseca spun around in front of the goal 16 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Quebra Ossos FC's goal. Elói Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Júlio Fonseca didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 25th minute. FALCÕES VERDES's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to FALCÕES VERDES getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Júlio Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Dudu Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baltazar Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FALCÕES VERDES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Tepedino couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Quebra Ossos FC booed when FALCÕES VERDES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Fonseca in the 42nd minute of play forced Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper Vitório Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Branco came free, but Dalmo Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Fonseca to make the kick off. A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Horácio Cerezo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Aírton Queirós got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sílvio Luís Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Telmo Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Clóvis Marinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vitório Britto. Quebra Ossos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Quebra Ossos FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Horácio Cerezo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Júlio Fonseca put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vitório Britto. Telmo Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Gugu Saldanha came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dalmo Sergipano could save by the left post. After 77 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Marinho. The audience thought a goal was coming when Téo Fonseca got free with Dalmo Sergipano in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute of the match Quebra Ossos FC got a corner. FALCÕES VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Téo Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 81st minute, Valdo Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Téo Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quebra Ossos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Téo Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Aírton Queirós hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Júlio Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Júlio Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Vitório Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Telmo Salles fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebra Ossos FC's protests and gave Telmo Salles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Telmo Salles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes of play, FALCÕES VERDES's Júlio Fonseca made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FALCÕES VERDES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quebra Ossos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
