But to his dismay, Francis Casillas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Gustavo de Lima during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Quebra Ossos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Gustavo de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Betão Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quebra Ossos FC's Sílvio Corrêa got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Francis Casillas put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ronaldão dos Santos. In the 20th minute Francis Casillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Abeluse Flow getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jorge Cordoba hit a great ball. 1-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Betão Marinho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Francis Casillas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldão dos Santos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francis Casillas made a kick off. With a little luck, Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão dos Santos got control of the ball when Angelo Bodelon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Queirós. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Ronaldão dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amancio Comas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Casillas came free, but Ronaldão dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldão dos Santos made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Angelo Bodelon sent off a good shot on target. Francis Casillas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Ronaldão dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francis Casillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Aírton Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
