The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Devoto club social's Hugo Cordero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 7th minute of play. Sandu Bâru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugo Cordero came out and tried to block the shot, but Sandu Bâru slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. Marian Morovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hugo Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Cordero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iacob Martinescu in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Gasteiz came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Sandu Bâru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Cordero. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Ionete got free with Hugo Cordero in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 minutes, Cosme Enmanuel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devoto club social and the BVB 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Devoto club social getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cosme Enmanuel hit a great ball. Hugo Cordero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Agulescu in the 25th minute. If Francisc Ionete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Gasteiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Devoto club social's Hugo Cordero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Devoto club social from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Oxel hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Roberto Txilar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Devoto club social fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for BVB 09. Sandu Bâru stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hugo Cordero. 3-0. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Devoto club social was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Bertran didn't get a good kick on the ball. BVB 09's Sandu Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Cordero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Morovan in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandu Bâru made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sandu Bâru notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Devoto club social's Hugo Cordero. Hugo Cordero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th match minute, Devoto club social was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Domeka to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Bâru in the 60th minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Hugo Cordero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to Devoto club social's Marcial Lohitzun getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Iacob Martinescu scored 5-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Cordero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Cordero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Morovan's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Bâru to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Devoto club social's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Bâru came free, but Hugo Cordero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Sandu Bâru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Cordero was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 85 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Cordaryal. 86 minutes into the game, BVB 09's Iacob Martinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Cordero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Hugo Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iacob Martinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BVB 09 had played much better football throughout.
