Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Forrest Gumpfer started the match with the kick off. Ercole Rea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Ström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Dave Valeriani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Lagerberg in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Calle Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Söderman came free, but Dave Valeriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When UÅ Mästerbotten's Marcus Söderman in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Farafulla FC's goalie prevented a goal. UÅ Mästerbotten's Niklas Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Evani in the 13th minute of play. Marcus Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dave Valeriani having to interfere. Marcus Söderman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dave Valeriani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Forrest Gumpfer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Valeriani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Söderman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Forrest Gumpfer in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Valeriani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 26 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Cavallo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniele Cavallo got free with Niklas Ström in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Evani in the 32nd minute of play forced UÅ Mästerbotten's goalkeeper Niklas Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dave Valeriani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Lagerberg in the 33rd minute of the match. Dave Valeriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Lagerberg in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farafulla FC's goalkeeper Dave Valeriani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Farafulla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Rea. Farafulla FC's Dave Valeriani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Söderman in the 43rd minute of play. Marcus Söderman took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dave Valeriani. Dave Valeriani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half UÅ Mästerbotten were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th play minute Marcus Söderman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dave Valeriani. 0-2. Krister Svanström lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 57 played minutes UÅ Mästerbotten got a freekick which was hit by Krister Svanström. Niklas Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Rea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Forrest Gumpfer got free with Dave Valeriani in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Farafulla FC's zone, Forrest Gumpfer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dave Valeriani came out of the goal and Forrest Gumpfer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bianco Vierchowod hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, UÅ Mästerbotten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Söderman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the UÅ Mästerbotten defense, Ercole Rea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niklas Ström. The UÅ Mästerbotten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niklas Ström should have stopped the shot. Forrest Gumpfer struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dave Valeriani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UÅ Mästerbotten. When UÅ Mästerbotten's Forrest Gumpfer in 93 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dave Valeriani guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The UÅ Mästerbotten supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UÅ Mästerbotten would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
