The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleuterio Tab during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Eleuterio Tab got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Marcelinho Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severino Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Gar in the 28th minute of the match. If Jonatan Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Hotz in the 31st minute of play forced CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Severino Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Mattos in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Candido Kaxen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Despidida AFC and the CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Candido Kaxen. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Nereo Nevada got control of the ball when Marcelinho Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nereo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Alagoano in the 40th minute of the match. Júlio Brasil hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júlio Brasil made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Alagoano in the 51st minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Nereo Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Júlio Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Nevada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulises Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Severino Madureira made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Alagoano came free, but Nereo Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nereo Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Nevada having to interfere. Severino Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Gar charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Gar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Despidida AFC's Gaston Gar got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
