Marcelo Sá came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by BuanaRaya's Dodi Adrianto. But to his dismay, Dodi Adrianto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Valdomiro Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Marcelo Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatius Kuswoyo in the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, BuanaRaya's Dodi Adrianto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Marcelo Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatius Kuswoyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dodi Adrianto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Thomas Muttaqien made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Ignatius Kuswoyo got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Galo na Veia FC™'s Marcelo Sá got control of the ball when Dodi Adrianto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignatius Kuswoyo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Marcelo Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BuanaRaya. The supporters of BuanaRaya booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Velloso made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by BuanaRaya's Ignatius Kuswoyo. Ida Bagus Afiff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benê Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. With an all-out effort, BuanaRaya's Marcelo Sá threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Muttaqien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, Pedrinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Galo na Veia FC™'s Marcelo Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatius Kuswoyo in the 89th minute of play. Dodi Adrianto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Marcelo Sá made a huge save. When the match was over BuanaRaya could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galo na Veia FC™ throughout the match.
